David Collins joined as an investigative reporter in 2015, breaking scoops including Downing Street's cover-up of a failed Trident nuclear missile test, the murder of Agnes Wanjiru by a British soldier, SAS war crimes, and articles on police corruption. He has won the Paul Foot Award, George Orwell Special Prize, and investigation of the year at the British Journalism Awards. He is currently northern editor.
