Ben Hoyle is the foreign editor of The Sunday Times. He was previously the US West Coast bureau chief for The Times for six years, covering everything from the rise and fall of Donald Trump to the Oscars. Before that he was based in Moscow during Russia’s 2014 invasion of Ukraine and has reported from Libya, Iran and Albania, as well as Cannes, Venice and Edinburgh.
