David Byers is deputy property editor and writes for The Times and The Sunday Times’s News, Business, Bricks & Mortar and Home sections. Before arriving at The Times in 2007, David worked as a political correspondent in the House of Commons for four regional daily newspapers and undertook stints of foreign reporting in Berlin, Delhi, Israel and Uganda. He was assistant money editor at The Times and The Sunday Times from November 2019 to January 2023.
