Jurgen Klinsmann, the Germany coach, has included Christian Worns, the 33 year-old Borussia Dortmund defender, among 28 players selected for the country’s first training camp before this summer’s World Cup finals.
Worns has not played for the national team since September and recently questioned Klinsmann’s decision to drop him from the squad. The coach has also recalled Sebastian Kehl, Worns’s clubmate, but Dietmar Hamann, the Liverpool midfield player, has been left out.
