Wonder walls

ARE you feeling squashed? Ceilings a bit low? Hallway too narrow? Move your walls.

It may sound like a lot of hard work, but the Milton Keynes Partnership, part of the government regeneration agency English Partnerships, will make it easy for you. It has received planning permission for the country’s first flexible homes, designed with moveable partition walls to increase room sizes as the needs of residents change.

The scheme, in Tattehoe Park, will provide more than 1,300 homes of which at least 30 per cent will be flexible, reports planningresource.co.uk.
