Vote for your favourite travel companies, hotels, airlines and destinations for a chance to win one of ten great prizes
The Jungle Beach resort in Sri Lanka
The Jungle Beach resort in Sri Lanka

Explore Sri Lanka’s east coast, the island’s least-visited area, and stay at two of its best five-star hotels; Jungle Beach and Uga Bay.

This is just one of the prizes on offer if you vote in the Times and Sunday Times Travel Awards, which are back for a fifth year, and which are now the most sought-after gongs in the travel industry.

Explore the magical island of Sri Lanka on this incredible whistle-stop tour of the country’s lesser travelled east coast. The Sri Lankan hotel group Uga Escapes (ugaescapes.com) is offering a six-night getaway, and the lucky winner and their partner will start at the Jungle Beach resort near Trincomalee, with its collection of treehouse-style apartments nestled in dense forest. There’s a golden beach, great snorkelling and, for adventurous guests, diving with whales.

Farther south is Uga Bay, set on arguably the country’s most beautiful beach, Passekudah. The property is steeped in Second World War history and guests are able to scuba-dive to the wreckage of HMS Hermes.

The holiday’s finer details will be arranged by a personal travel consultant at Destinology (destinology.co.uk), the tour operator, with flights included.

We want to know the travel companies you trust the most and the destinations you can’t wait to get back to. The award-winners you’ve chosen will be announced at a ceremony by the Dead Sea in Jordan on September 22.
