Wii Play Motion Nintendo Wii (£44.99, 7+)
The fact that this comes with a new controller (with Motion Plus built in) makes Wii Play Motion a good deal alone. The series of mini games, which are designed to show off the controller, vary in quality — the stone-skipping game feels as though you are skimming stones at the local lake, but the whack-the-mole game has controls that are so sensitive that the slightest twitch can have you hammering wildly at all and sundry. As a series of 12 games, from balancing ice-cream scoops at ridiculous heights to tracking ghosts off-screen with only sound to guide you, Wii Play Motion is at least fun.
