Nature or nurture? Nurture. In the right environment we can do just about anything.
Hawking or Cox? Hawking. His intellect and reasoning scare me a little.
Rainforest or New Forest? I’ve always been fascinated by rainforests. However, I love the feeling of being in the New Forest. It’s lovely and British.
Cop or robber? I have to say robber, but only in the romantic sense. I’ve been one of the good guys most of my life, so there must be something a little naughty in me.
God or physics? God, but not because of any great religious beliefs. I marvel at some people’s spirituality, so there has to be something out there that is very powerful. I don’t see God and physics as being orthogonal.

Corrie or Horizon? Horizon. That said, I’d rather be outside than watch either.
CERN or Sistine Chapel? CERN is the sum of many people’s endeavours and knowledge but the Sistine Chapel is so far outside anything I could ever achieve that I have to go with it.
Aliens or just us? Aliens. Do the sums.
Flora or fauna? Fauna, though I have to admit to being the hunting-shooting-fishing-eating sort of chap.
Rooney or Ronaldo? Rooney’s British and a little more manly in his approach to sport. I much prefer rugby.

Micro or macro? Macro. You have to look at the big picture to see what’s happening around you.
Red or white? Life is too short for bad wine. I love both but I drink more red.
Inert or reactive? Reactive. I was always fascinated by the energy bursting to get out of relatively small amounts of chemicals. On a more personal level, “only a dead fish goes with the flow”. Life’s about interaction.
Twitter or not? I tweet. I’m not good at it, as I have long periods enjoying myself too much to comment for others.
Marmite? Yes. On toast or with cucumber in a white bread sandwich! No to Vegemite or any other impostor.
