England’s meeting with Germany on Sunday marks the resumption of one of the great rivalries in world football. England overcome a 1-0 deficit to lead 2-1 but West Germany force a late equaliser. Geoff Hurst puts England in front with the help of a linesman and goes on to complete his treble in extra time.
