I’m going to the new Ibiza Rocks at Pikes Hotel in Ibiza. My normal style could be described as yummy mummy. I’m 37 and 5ft 6in — help!
Pikes Hotel has quite a glam vibe, so go for a dressed-up take on your pool-party look. This top-and-shorts combo, by Nanette Lepore (1, blouse, £185, and shorts, £125), is elegant but not stuffy. For a similar look, try this floral playsuit by Sandro (2 £200) — a yummy-mummy-hits-pool-party outfit if ever I’ve seen one. Alternatively, check out Melissa Odabash, the queen of the kaftan, for the ultimate indulgence. A summer maxi such as this one by DVF (3 £114; my-wardrobe.com) would also work a treat. Finish off your look with a pair of wedges. These, by Missoni (4 £250; net-a-porter.com), give height, but you can still bust a move in them.
I’m 47, with 32DD boobs, and like to wear a bikini on the beach. But every summer I have a nightmare finding decent, supportive, classic styles. Where should I be looking?
For bikini tops that fit properly, you need to look to bra specialists. Rigby & Peller’s Ruffles padded plunge style (5 £125) is simpler than it sounds, puts a premium on fit and comes in a lovely berry colour. Lepel and Freya also specialise in larger cup sizes. This red number, by Lepel (6 £44; figleaves.com), should spare you your usual summer trauma.

I’m planning to wear my yellow pleated Whistles midiskirt to a wedding with some tan APC heels. What do you think I should wear on top?
You have two options. For a more traditional look, try a simple waisted blazer (make sure it’s not too long) such as this one, from Reiss (7 £169), and pair it with a plain silk tee. Reiss, again, does good ones — either in a neutral colour or a bright (8 £90) for colour blocking. For a less formal approach, this silk tee, from Ted Baker (9 £99), would work brilliantly. And for extra shape, tuck it in, then cinch the waist with a skinny belt. Topshop has one in tan (10 £22) that will match your shoes.
