Valley girls

Perhaps there is a better way of reducing teenage pregnancies in this country

Sir, The former Chief Constable of South Wales, Barbara Wilding, is quoted as having said that the aspiration of girls in the valleys was “to get pregnant as quickly as possible and get a council property” (report, Jan 15).

Maybe one way of reducing teenage pregnancies in this country would be to give a council property to young girls who are not pregnant.
