Some of these will be heavy, especially in the west, with the odd rumble of thunder likely. There will, however, be evening spells of sunshine for most, with showers becoming confined to northwest Scotland. Light to moderate west or southwesterly winds, but it will be gustier across the northwest coast of Scotland and the Scottish islands
