Family fun in Borneo Here’s a stunning new family offering, opening in Borneo in July. The first tour is a three-night weekend in St Ives on May 18, including a preview of the Tate St Ives Summer Exhibition and a performance at the spectacular open-air Minack Theatre. Guidebooks for kids This season’s crop of new guidebooks includes a series of Eyewitness Travel Family Guides (traveldk.com), with books on London, Paris, New York and Washington out this month for £12.99 each. But perhaps the most interesting are the Step Outside Guides (stepoutsideguides.com) to London, designed to help children of nine and older to lead a tour. London Treasure Trail and Down by the Thames also highlight good picnic spots,free toilets and buggie accessibility. They cost £5 each.
