Sir, Apropos the vouchers for bacon rolls and Danish pastries offered to disgruntled commuters by the One rail company, you ask “So how’s the roll?” (leading article, June 27). The answer is: “Cancelled.”
Since the June 12 timetable change the 0610 from Stowmarket to Liverpool Street has had its buffet/restaurant car replaced by a trolley, from which bacon rolls — whether free or not — are not available.
