Oxygen fault on MH370
The emergency oxygen system in the cockpit of the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 had to be repaired shortly before take-off, a report revealed. Investigators appointed by the Malaysian government found the problem had been logged as fixed before the flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing a year ago.
The report said the aircraft’s disappearance, with 239 people on board, was probably down to a catastrophic failure, because investigators had found nothing to suggest that the flight crew might have wanted to crash it deliberately.
