1. The competition will run on www.thetimes.com/foodcompetition website from midnight Friday 11 March to midnight Wednesday 16 March 2011.

7. Unless otherwise specified, competition open to UK and ROI residents aged 18 or over except employees of Times Newspapers Limited (TNL), News International Ltd, their families, agents or any other person(s) connected with the competition, including third party promotional partners.

12. Unless otherwise specified, the winner(s) will be drawn at random from all correct entries received before the closing date. Winners will be notified within 28 days after the closing date. If a winner cannot be contacted or is not available, TNL reserves the right to re-draw another winner from the correct entries which were received before the closing date.

13. TNL reserves the right to publish entries (including parts of entries) other than the winning entry and publication does not necessarily mean the entrant has won a prize.

14. Entrants will retain copyright in their submitted entries, however, by entering, all entrants licence TNL a worldwide royalty-free perpetual licence to edit, publish and use each entry in any and all media (including print and online) for publicity and news purposes.

15. All images submitted must be the original work of the individual submitting them and must not have been published elsewhere or have won a prize in any other photographic competition. It is the responsibility of each entrant to ensure that any images they submit have been taken with the consent of anyone who is identifiable in that image or the consent of their parent/guardian if they are under 16 and that they have been advised of the purpose of the submission and that their photograph may be published by TNL and the prize provider or sponsor; and that they do not infringe the copyright of any third party or any laws. Entrants must warrant that the photographs they are submitting are their own work and that they own the copyright for them.

16. TNL reserves the right to publish parts of entries other than the winning entry, and publication does not necessarily mean that the entrant has won a prize. TNL reserves the right to edit entries in its discretion for publication. Entrants will retain copyright in their submitted entries; however, by entering, all entrants give TNL a worldwide royalty free perpetual licence to edit, publish and use segments of each entry in any and all media (including print and online) for publicity and news purposes. In particular, all entrants license TNL the right to print their entry on www.thetimes.com or www.thesundaytimes.co.uk and in The Times, The Sunday Times or any of their supplements.

17. The winner agrees to an interview which may be published by TNL in any of their publications including but not limited to The Times, The Sunday Times or any of their supplement.

18. TNL will not be liable for any failure of receipt of entries, including technical, hardware, or software failures of any kind or lost or unavailable network connections which may limit or prohibit an eligible entrant’s ability to participate in the competition. TNL takes no responsibility for any entries that are lost, delayed, illegible, corrupted, damaged, incomplete or otherwise invalid.

19. Other than death or personal injury arising from the acts or omissions of TNL or its employees, TNL will not be liable for any loss or damage arising out of the winner’s (or their guest’s) enjoyment of the prize.

20. There is no cash or other alternative to the prize stated and the prize is not transferable and no part or parts of the prize may be substituted for other benefits, items or additions.

21. By entering, any subsequent prize winners agree to allow the free use of their names, photographs and general locations for publicity and news purposes during this and future promotions by TNL or any associated or subsidiary company of News International Limited.

22. Uses of personal data received by TNL in the course of the promotion are subject to the privacy policy found on the Website. Winners’ names may be published on the Website.

23. Winners may be required to submit valid identification before receiving their prize.

24. The Editor’s decision is final and binding on the entrants. No correspondence will be entered into.

TNL reserves the right at any time to cancel, modify or supersede the competition (including altering prizes) if, in our sole discretion, a competition is not capable of being conducted as specified.
