There is no other supercar in the world that has become so accessible to the average guy. The two most accessorised vehicles in America are the Corvette and the Harley-Davidson. When you look at a Corvette accessory book, my God, it’s like a phone book. It’s like no two are the same. I have four Corvettes, a ’99 C5, the yellow ’02 Z06 on this page, a heavily modified 600hp Z06 and Z06 number 0001.

My yellow Z06 is the supercar I take out when I want a blast regardless of the weather or where I am going. It’s a great car for doing power slides or donuts in the rain. Not that I don’t care about it. But a Corvette is a working-class car that gets thumbs up from truck drivers and is as much at home in a bad area as it is in Beverly Hills.
