They’re reading...

Ulrika Jonsson

IS OUT OF TIME

“I’m trying to read The Time Traveler’s Wife by Audrey Niffenegger. A friend recommended it but it’s proving tough. It’s beautifully written but she pushes my limits of belief with Henry’s time travelling movements, particularly when there is more than one of him. Being a mother of three doesn’t help my concentration.”

Ulrika: The Body Plan, is on DVD from Paramount Home Entertainment, RRP £17.99

Ned Sherrin

FINDS A LOOSE END

“I’m finishing Alan Bennett’s wonderful Untold Stories. I thought I’d got it all from the serialisations but it’s a revelation. Best of all, I think I’ve caught the great man out. He dislikes cheeky chappy comics from the South — especially Tommy Handley and Arthur Askey. Surely Liverpool, whence they both hailed, is still in the North?”
