They officially consist of two people — Brisbane twins Jessica and Lisa Origliasso — but the Veronicas’ third album sounds like the work of about 20. Few would have the insouciance to skip between prairie-folk harmonies (You and Me), Katy Perry mega-pop (Cruel) and strident rave-rap (Did You Miss Me — I’m a Veronica) as the Origliassos do here. But you know what? They pretty much pull it off. The only thing they can’t do is over-emoted power ballads, of which there are at least three too many. (Sony, out Mar 16)
