Existing Times iPad readers simply need to reload the edition. To do this you need to be connected to the internet (either 3G or wireless). Then simply close and reopen today’s edition.

If you can’t see the new content, you may need to clear your Times app’s memory, or “cache”. Simply open your device’s settings, tap on ‘The Times’ logo in the left-hand column, then turn on the ‘Clear Cache’ switch. Then reopen today’s Times iPad edition.
