Yet another Sims 2 expansion pack to keep the little people entertained in-game and players involved in overall proceedings a little longer. With FreeTime, the Sims can enjoy a variety of pastimes such as restoring old motor vehicles, playing football, practising ballet, and even writing novels. There are also train sets to play with and the chance for the Sims to make their own clothes.

The core game remains terrific fun, and this add-on momentarily brings something new to the proceedings. But, ultimately, it must come under the “more of the same” heading. A copy of The Sims 2 is needed to unlock FreeTime’s add-on hobbies.
