When you fill in your census form, you may notice that Question 17 reads “intentionally left blank” for seemingly no reason. Apparently, forms delivered in Wales do feature a question concerning the Welsh language, but couldn’t the Office for National Statistics have come up with something interesting to ask the rest of us?
