Director Martin Scorsese has already been honoured with the Cecil B DeMille lifetime achievement award. Vera Farmiga, who starred in the filmmaker's crime thriller The Departed said Scorsese has "the
power to rouse a crowd and bring them along on his holy mission" with cinema as "his shrine".
