Commerzbank up
Commerzbank, Germany’s third biggest bank, pleased investors yesterday by returning to profit in the fourth quarter of last year, reporting net profits of €99 million (£68 million), up from a loss of €88 million the year before, as well as restoring the dividend.
Electrolux switch
Electrolux shares jumped 12 per cent after the Swedish home appliances maker said that it would relocate about ten of its 27 plants in Western Europe and North America to Asia, Eastern Europe and Mexico. The company has two sites in County Durham.
