Greenberg move

Maurice “Hank” Greenberg, the former chairman and chief executive of AIG, the US insurance group, will unwind the transfer of $2.28 billion of shares in the company to his wife Corinne, his legal team said. Mr Greenberg is under investigation over alleged accounting abuses at AIG.

Intel accused

Intel, the world’s biggest computer chipmaker, has been accused in an antitrust lawsuit of bribing, threatening and intimidating its customers in order to build a global monopoly. The claims were made by Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), the rival chipmaker.
