Telekom to move into PTC
DEUTSCHE TELEKOM, the German telecoms group, was last night said to be on the verge of a deal to buy the 51 per cent stake in PTC, Poland’s biggest mobile phone company, that it does not already own. The PTC stake, worth upwards of €1 billion (£664 million), is part-owned by France’s Vivendi Universal.
US firm ‘dumped products’

CORNING, the American fibre-optic components maker, has been accused by China’s Commerce Ministry of dumping its products in the country. The company has dismissed the claim, which alleged that it sold products at prices lower than it would normally charge in its domestic market.
