The European Commission has granted Microsoft’s rivals more time to study proposals put forward by the US software group to meet orders placed on the company by the Commission as part of its ruling last year on the group’s market dominance.
Knight threatened
Knight Capital Group, one of the largest traders of Nasdaq-listed shares, said that its asset management unit and a former employee had been told by the SEC that they may face civil charges for allegedly violating securities laws designed to stop fraud.
