It acts in charity matters, including working for Eton College, which, with Star Academies, had plans approved to open free sixth-form colleges in Dudley, Middlesbrough and Oldham. It will recruit young people from deprived communities in the Black Country, Teesside and northern Greater Manchester.

The firm advised on the recent merger of the Higher Education Statistics Agency with Jisc, the UK’s digital body for tertiary education and research.

It has also advised the Fairfield House Bath not-for-profit community interest company in relation to the historic Fairfield House in Bath, which was once home to Ethiopian emperor Haile Selassie I and is of significant importance to the Rastafarian faith. The firm assisted in a community asset transfer from the local council.
