“I went to this Future Cinema event a couple of months ago (www.futurecinema.co.uk). It was amazing and I was thinking this is my dream event, it’s like going into Narnia, but I was so exhausted! They’re having another one soon and I want to go again and enjoy it.
“I’ve been getting into animation, starting to collect the Studio Ghibli stuff (www.onlineghibli.com). Princess Mononoke is the next one I’m going to watch. We’re hoping to use projections into our new tour, we’re asking people to send things we could use (www.myspace.com/guillemotsmusic).
“There’s also something I’m vaguely involved in. This grime producer Statik (www.myspace.com/statikmusic) is putting together a track to raise money for Strummerville, the Joe Strummer Foundation for New Music. It’s a cover of Janie Jones and it’s like an indie Live Aid. He’s got a ridiculous number of people on it. I’m looking forward to hearing what it’s like!”
