STOCKPORT Six people were tied up during an armed robbery at a DIY store. Police released CCTV footage of the early-morning raid at the Homebase store in Stockport. Three balaclava-clad men, armed with crowbars and a machete, tied up the members of staff before searching the shop for cash. None of the victims was seriously injured during their hour-long ordeal on June 26, but they were left “extremely traumatised”, Greater Manchester Police said. The offenders are described as white and between 22 and 28 years old. They left the store with a small amount of cash.
