Sir, I have noticed that when I buy a box of six large (or very large) eggs, the one on the back row at the left is significantly larger than all the others in the box.
I wonder if this is because the merchants know that we read from top left and probably only look at the first egg we see, to gauge the size of its fellows?
My suspicions are fuelled by the fact that the egg on the bottom right invariably appears to be medium-size at best.
