Sierra/Wii (£39.99)
Scarface has been around on rival consoles for nearly a year, but it gains a new immediacy from the Wii’s motion-sensitive controls. The story of the game remains exactly the same: we pick up where the film ends, with Tony Montana a broken man. Your mission is to rebuild his cocaine-fuelled empire.
On the PS2 and Xbox versions, this is a challenge to be undertaken with a furrowed brow of concentration; here, it’s hard not to smile as you wave the Wii controller at the screen, using its trigger to mow down your opponents. In a Wii market dominated by quickfire fun, this is a welcome break.
