Scandinavian Airlines is to start twice daily services from London City Airport to Stockholm from Monday February 13. Flights will depart London City at 0915 and 1815, arriving in Stockholm at 1245 and 2145 respectively. The return flights leave Stockholm at 0715 and 1615, arriving in London at 0845 and 1645.
The service will be three class - Business, Economy Flex and Economy – which are combinable on the outward and return journeys. One-way fares start from £51 including taxes.
SAS only launched its first route from the east London airport, a twice-daily service to Copenhagen, last October.
Richard Gooding, London City Airport’s managing director, says: “After the marked success of SAS’ Copenhagen route, we are confident this further expansion will place London City Airport in an ideal position to best serve the travel need of business travellers to Scandinavia.”
