Cook 10min

2 fresh salmon fillets
25g ginger paste
25g garlic paste

15g gram flour

The salmon recipe comes from Itihaas, winner of the best newcomer award. www.itihaas.co.uk

METHOD: Mix all the marinade ingredients, adding the cooking oil in stages until it forms a paste. Place the salmon fillets in the mixture and marinate in a fridge for 6-8 hours, ensuring that the fillets are evenly covered. Put two tablespoons of cooking oil in a frying pan over a medium heat. Place the salmon in the pan and cook for ten minutes until golden brown. Serve with mixed leaves and a yoghurt/mint dressing.
