Britannia Royal Naval College

On Thursday February 17, 2005, a Passing Out Parade was held at Britannia Royal Naval College (Commodore R. J. Ibbotson DSC Royal Navy). Prizes awarded during the Passing Out Parade were:

Naval general training prizes: The Hawke Memorial Award for the top SUY on the current course was awarded to Sub Lieutenant G Richardson. The Wallrock Shield Award for the Top Flight Young Officer in the final term was awarded to Sub Lieutenant R Lorenz. The Captain Farmer Prize to the Young Officer with the best performance in Naval General Training, Sub Lieutenant M Crossey. Commandant Talbot Prize for the best overall performance in Leadership, Sub Lieutenant C Carter. Doris Graham Prize for the best performance on the Assessed Command Exercise awarded to Sub Lieutenant C Smart.

Academic prizes: Top Young Officer in the Warfare Specialisation end of course exams, Sub Lieutenant A Frith. Top Young Officer in end of the Logistics Specialisation end of course exams, Sub Lieutenant C Carver.

Other awards: The Commodore presented the Commodore’s Award to Sub Lieutenant J Dean. The Commodore presented his personal award to Sub Lieutenant L Sidoli in recognition of his particular contribution to the college.
