In our report, headlined “LSE’s Hizb ut-Tahrir teacher and the secretive ‘Brothers’ Circle’” (Jan 16), we said that Reza Pankhurst, a member of Hizb ut-Tahrir who teaches at the LSE, had led “secretive” or “private” Brothers’ Circle meetings for the LSE Islamic Society. We now understand and are happy to make it clear that the meetings of the ‘Brothers Circle’ were openly advertised in LSE Islamic Society emails and on the Society website and that anyone was able to attend.
