Reeds Solicitors specialises in criminal defence and includes among its staff police station representatives, paralegals, solicitors, solicitor-advocates and barristers.

The firm acted for the mother of a baby boy whose body was found in a garden in Weston-super-Mare. The mother had given birth to the baby at home and subsequently carried it outside and dropped it over a wall from a great height into the neighbouring garden. She was initially charged with murder, but Reeds Solicitors obtained a psychiatric report and the woman pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of infanticide. She was sentenced to a community order.

It also secured the acquittal of a teenager hoping to study dentistry at university, who was charged with robbery of shoes and a hat during a scuffle. The client said that they had acted in self-defence while being pursued and had thrown the garments at the complainant.
