Since 2005, when Rayden Solicitors started with one office in Shenley, Hertfordshire, it has grown to nine offices and 61 lawyers.

The firm’s clients tend to be wealthy individuals from the worlds of commerce, entertainment and fashion, as well as medical, legal and accountancy professionals. It has historically engaged in cross-border work in jurisdictions including France, Belgium and Switzerland, and has now begun working with clients from further across Europe and the Middle East, Africa and the Far East, as well as Australia and North America.

The firm was founded by Katherine Rayden, a former Farrer & Co lawyer who is known for representing extremely wealthy people and often acts for same-sex parents. This year Mary Kaye, a partner who leads the Birmingham office, was appointed as a council member at the Law Society.
