The Duchess of Malfi
Punchdrunk specialise in creating “immersive” theatre experiences in which the audience are free to wander at will, seeing a different part of the action wherever they go. Now the company is revolutionising opera with a promenade performance of The Duchess of Malfi over three floors of an office building in East London, featuring 17 performers, the ENO orchestra and a hidden Courvoisier bar somewhere along the way.
