The benefits of providing seating during Wimbledon fortnight, Golf’s PGA European Tour and the Ryder Cup are paying off.

Arena Group, which provides temporary physical structures and seats for sports and entertainment clients worldwide, said yesterday that it was on track to meet the market’s profit expectations for the year. It raised £60 million in July when it listed on the junior Alternative Investment Market.

Arena, which recently constructed a temporary television studio for ITV’s Dancing on Ice and facilities for Bryant Park skating rink in New York, reported revenue of £51.1 million, up 15 per cent, and £14.7 million in gross profit, a 5 per cent gain, in the six months to June 30.
