Unwanted by England, Ben Foden starts at full back in a strong Northampton side, while Juandre Kruger returns at lock after a month’s suspension for stamping. For Saracens, Alex Goode starts at fly half.

Toby Flood, whose Achilles tendon injury kept him out for six months, has been named on the Leicester bench, while Lote Tuqiri makes his first start and Jordan Crane, discarded by England, starts at No 8.
Scarlets v Worcester Warriors 3pm
As they look to build on their victory over Newcastle Falcons last week, Worcester Warriors are captained by Chris Fortey, the hooker, on his 100th appearance for the club. Scarlets, who drew with Harlequins last weekend, have recalled David Lyons, the former Australia No 8.

Cardiff Blues v London Irish 1.45pm (live on Sky Sports 2)
London Irish retain the same starting line-up that lost to London Wasps last weekend, including Alex Corbisiero, the highly rated tight-head prop, who survived his first game back after a knee injury. For Cardiff Blues, who won away to Gloucester, Ben Blair is fit again and named on the bench.

Two of Gloucester’s contenders for England selection are restored to health, with Olly Morgan returning at full back and Nick Wood at loose-head prop. The performance of Simon Shaw in the London Wasps second row will also be monitored by Martin Johnson, the England team manager.
