Poppy cash theft couple are caught on camera

Police have released closed-circuit television images of a couple stealing a poppy collection tin and putting it in a pram. The couple have been linked to three such thefts in Oxford in ten days.

The first took place on October 27 from a Londis store. They stole again from a hairdresser’s on November 2, where the CCTV still, above, was captured. The Royal British Legion box was later found with no money inside.

On November 6 another box was taken from the same Londis store by a couple of the same description. Both Londis thefts were also captured on CCTV.
