Makes: 4 Pomegranate juice looks set to be the new cranberry juice, with an all-but-hysterical following in Hollywood and backing by numerous nutritionists.

Look for Pom Wonderful and Pomegreat brands in Waitrose stores, around £3 for 400ml.

300ml chilled gin

100ml chilled sweetened pomegranate juice

METHOD

First, chill four martini glasses until frosty. Pour the gin and pomegranate juice over ice, stirring well. Strain into the glasses and serve.
