Blairs go back to the classroom
WHAT is it with the Blairs and schools? As the PM opts for an average audience age of 14 in front of which to not quite say anything (see other, weightier pages), word reaches us that his wife is also heading for the classroom.
Mrs Blair, with her “Cherie Booth, QC” hat on, has recorded a three-part series for the online Teachers’ TV channel (www.teachers.tv). In Human Rights with Cherie Booth, QC, she is in classrooms, observing teachers conducting “citizen lessons”, then telling said teachers what they got right and wrong.
“It is important that we get the message over that human rights are not abstract concepts without relevance to everyday life,” she says to her husband. Sorry. To her audience, rather. Wishful thinking.

If we had had my mum, New York would have been clean in no time.”
