The joys of customer complaints

SHARON HODGSON MP, we salute you. And we had never heard of you until yesterday.

Hodgson (Labour, Gateshead East & Washington West), has put forward a motion to the House of Commons. “This House recognises that people are purchasing services online in increasingly large numbers,” it begins, noting that the complaints procedure for online companies is frequently opaque, and that Ryanair, the budget airline, is a supposed offender. Then it notes that its head of customer services can be contacted directly at greenc@ryanair.com, and that, if you don’t fancy paying a high 0871 tariff, you can also call on +353 18121212.

Brilliant. This is what MPs should be for.
