With extensive experience in foreign courts, this London firm specialises in complex fraud litigation, regulatory cases and financial crime. It was formed by the merger of Byrne and Partners and PCB Litigation in April 2021.

The partners Nicola Boulton and Charlotte Bhania acted against Russia’s “richest man”, the nickel and banking magnate Vladimir Potanin. The multibillion-dollar claim, on behalf of the aluminium company Rusal, concerns the mismanagement of Potanin’s company Norilsk Nickel and breach of contract. Allegations include asset stripping and significant environmental damage.

Two other partners, Matthew Frankland and Emma Brooks, are representing the former chief executive of a FTSE 100 multinational gaming company in a high-profile four-year HMRC criminal investigation and connected regulatory proceedings in the US. The allegations include bribery, fraud offences and money laundering relating to more than £250 million.
