Birmingham City picked up their second victory of the year against bottom-placed Yeovil Town. Aoife Mannion, from the penalty spot, Meaghan Sargeant and Ellen White were on target in the 3-0 win.

Player of the week Nikita Parris, Manchester City
The City forward helped to extend the leaders’ unbeaten run by scoring twice in the 3-0 stroll at Sunderland, with a goal in each half tapped in from close range. Parris also provided the assist for City’s other goalscorer, Izzy Christiansen, in the 57th minute.

Goal of the week Beth England, Liverpool In front of Phil Neville, the new national team head coach, England secured a 2-0 victory for Liverpool with 25 minutes to go when she smashed home from just outside the box after a Bristol City clearance. It was her second goal of the game.
