Palma

It’s peak season — and you will have to try hard to find a good price for a flight to Palma.

Londoners seeking the best fares should fly from Gatwick, Stansted or Luton. The budget airline easyJet is charging £145-£265 for flights from all three airports, depending on when you travel. In addition, easyJet offers a £10 online discount (www.easyjet.com).

An alternative from Gatwick is BA priced at £199-£399 while, predictably, flights from Heathrow are the costliest, with bmi charging a hefty £326-£391.

Keen rates from the regions include easyJet from Bristol (£135- £200) and Liverpool (£120-£225). From Birmingham, MyTravelLite is priced at £140-£230, while Monarch Scheduled is

on offer between £147 and £221 from Manchester. Jet2 is priced at £167-£367 from Leeds.

Bmibaby offers departures from Cardiff for £166-£272.

But its prices from East Midlands (£297- £422) and Manchester (£210-£362) are on the high side. It also offers a £10 online discount (www.bmibaby.com).
