Scot Gemmill, the Scotland manager, last night urged his history-making youngster not to waste a win over Brazil by underestimating Indonesia tomorrow and go on and qualify for the semi-final of the Toulon Tournament.
The young Scots claimed a famous victory at the prestigious France event by beating the South American nation for the first time in history at any level. A win over the Asian minnows tomorrow — especially a decisive one — would give Scotland a great chance of reaching the semi-finals, which could be decided on goal difference.
Gemmill said: “Beating Brazil meant everything, but the aim was to go into the last game with a chance of qualification and that is achievable now. But it’s easy talking about it; they have to do it. They need to show that resilience and passion again.”
