Founded in 2017 by four colleagues from Charles Russell Speechlys, the London-based firm Northridge claims to be Europe’s largest sports law practice.

This year the firm has worked with the Football Association on matters including the fan-led Review of Football Governance, chaired by the MP Tracey Crouch, and issues arising from public disorder at the Euro 2020 final at Wembley in July.

Northridge advised its long-standing client Raheem Sterling, the England footballer, on his new deal with the US footwear and apparel brand New Balance, and the sports marketing agency Two Circles on its acquisition of TRM Partners. The latter was one of the leading M&A deals in the sports industry in 2020.
